Introduction

An overview of the biblical foundations for mission that develops the students’ understanding of God as a missionary God whose great purpose is the redemption of humanity and the restoration of creation in the coming of his Kingdom through Christ. Particular attention is given to the divine intention and enablement for human co-operation in God’s missionary purpose, and to give opportunity for students to integrate their study of the Scriptures, theology and personal understanding of vocation in mission.

Prerequisites and Exclusions

Time Commitment

Biblical Theology of Mission will require a time commitment on behalf of the student. If you are studying online you will need to commit to approximately 10 hours per week. If you are studying on campus you will need to commit to 3 hours of lecture time and approximately 7 hours private study per week.
