Dr Christopher Green

Chris is Senior Lecturer in Theology and Education at Melbourne School of Theology and Eastern College Australia. He also lectures/tutors in systematic theology at Azusa Pacific University and previously lectured in theology at Wesley Institute in Sydney (now Excelsia College) between 2010-2014. Chris is a graduate of Multnomah University, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and King’s College, The University of Aberdeen. His work on Karl Barth’s doctrine of divine providence has been published with T&T Clark (Doxological Theology: Karl Barth on Divine Providence, Evil, and the Angels). Also, together with David Starling, Chris also published a volume entitled Revelation and Reason in Christian Theology (proceedings from the 2016 Theology Connect conference). Chris is married to Rachel, and has three sons: Ethan, Benjamin and William. He enjoys coffee, running, talking about cultural differences, exploring Australia and traveling to other countries. Chris believes that a new book ‘smells just as good’ as a new car.
