Automatic Defibrillator Machine

(AED)

The graphic below shows the actual unit that Melbourne School of Theology has purchased. It is fully automatic and only requires you to follow the prompts. Prompts begin the moment you open the lid.

It is important that you take a few minutes to read through and listen to the instructions. These few minutes may save a work colleagues life, a family member or a friend, possibly even a stranger.

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere and at any age. An AED will give greater assistance in restoring a regular heart rhythm. Most of us do not have a medical background or even basic first aid to perform CPR, but this fully automatic AED is easy to operate and can be used by anyone just by following the prompts.

The AED is stored in the First Aid Room on Level 1.
