Melbourne School of Theology is pleased to announce educational partnerships with Worldview Centre for Intercultural Studies in Tasmania and the Summer Institute of Linguistics Australia (SILA), providing registration for courses in language learning, mission preparation and cross-cultural training.
MST has been fostering partnerships with local churches, mission organisations, and a wide range of para-church groups for almost 100 years. We believe in supporting and encouraging other members in the Body of Christ by working together to bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ and making His name known among the nations.
We have also recently announced a partnership with Eastern College Australia. Our decision to partner formally with Eastern College follows an extended season of concerted and prayerful dialogue, in which the Boards and Executive teams of both Colleges have sought the will and direction of God. Throughout 2016 we have worked alongside Eastern’s leadership to explore ways in which we can utilize our unique strengths, joint resources and a common passion for Christ-centred education to achieve the greatest possible impact for the gospel, both in Australia, and globally.
The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labour. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. – 1 Corinthians 3:8-9
Worldview is a learning community for people committed to God’s work in reaching unreached people groups. Discipleship is the core of everything they do in training men and women to share the gospel with people who have never heard it before. They are wholly and completely committed to equipping people for God’s mission in the world.
Worldview’s teaching facilities are based in Launceston, Tasmania. A group of MST students will be visiting the site in June and getting involved in ministry opportunities for Mission Week 2016.
