This subject is divided into two parts. Firstly, it asks us to think about how we think about the doctrines of grace including the Gospel of God, the concepts of repentance, faith, forgiveness, justification, election and grace, and the work of the Spirit. Secondly, it presents the Christian Hope including the kingdom present and future, judgement, consummation of all things in Christ, death intermediate state and resurrection and heaven and hell.
Prerequisites and Exclusions
Pre-requisites: Two foundational Old or New Testament units plus one Church History.
The Doctrines of Grace and Eschatology will require a time commitment on behalf of the student. If you are studying online you will need to commit to approximately 10 hours per week. If you are studying on campus you will need to commit to 3 hours of lecture time and approximately 7 hours private study per week.
