Dr Chris Green
Lecturer in Theology
Meet Chris
Chris is a Senior Lecturer in Theology at Melbourne School of Theology and Eastern College Australia.
He previously lectured in theology at Wesley Institute in Sydney (now Excelsia College) between 2010-2014.
Chris’ research interests are in the areas of the doctrine of God, divine action and the theology of prayer.
Chris’ doctoral work concentrated on similarities and differences between the theologies of providence in the Reformed tradition and in the theology of Karl Barth. Also, together with David Starling, Chris published a volume entitled Revelation and Reason in Christian Theology (proceedings from the 2016 Theology Connect conference).
Chris is married to Rachel, and has three sons: Ethan, Benjamin and William. Chris enjoys ParkRun, cultural differences and Thai food, and believes that a new book ‘smells just as good’ as a new car.
