Gain a fresh perspective on how to thrive
as a radical disciple of Jesus.

Thursday, 17 November
7.00pm to 8.30pm

Following Jesus Christ presents unique challenges to disciples today. In our current climate of relativism, materialism and consumerism, Christians are increasingly perplexed as to who they are and what following Christ really means.

Drawing on both psychology and the Protestant tradition (in particular, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther and Adolf Schlatter), Michael’s book offers a fresh perspective of Jesus’ call to discipleship, looking at it through the lens of Jesus’ roles as Priest, Prophet and cross-bearing King.

This book is for Christians who seek to mature in intentional self-reflection and discover practical ways of living out Jesus’ call to discipleship. Find your true self, discover real life, know Christ as the great friend and befriend the world as part of the community of disciples.
