Christians of all cultures and contexts face the challenge of collaborating with other parties (churches, ministries, mission agencies, charities, businesses, etc.) to make Christ known. In this course, you will: a) learn about and reflect upon issues around why cooperation in Christian mission is difficult but necessary; b) consider how to form partnering and collaborative efforts in various types of ministry contexts; c) analyse relevance of various existing frameworks for partnering in mission; and d) create tools to evaluate the effectiveness of collaborative missional efforts.
Through this unit you will be guided to: a) explore biblical foundations for partnering and collaboration in ministry; b) understand the significance of partnering and collaborative efforts throughout the modern missionary movement; and c) be equipped through case studies, frameworks and other resources that assist in creating collaborative efforts in mission that can then be evaluated for effectiveness.
