Unit Code: PC004-512
Pre or Co-requisites: None
This unit introduces Christian worship through a study of Biblical perspectives, historical developments and contemporary themes and issues.
You will explore a study of the biblical idea of worship, and a survey of its development from the Old Testament to the New Testament. You will then examine the major periods of the history of the Church, all of which still influence public worship today.
Through this study, you will garner principles and perspectives on worship, both of which will inform a modern approach to worship. You will learn the basic principles of planning, preparation and conduct of worship services and be able to present organised, evidence-based perspectives on Christian worship.
Unit availabilities are subject to change. Please contact the enrolments team at enrolments@mst.edu.au for further information.
