Mission Perspectives is a 5 day immersive experience that blends the power of in-person engagement with the flexibility of online learning. Emerge with a foundational mission framework that will shape your understanding of missions in the world today.
The apostles, Hudson Taylor, Amy Carmichael and many others go before us as those who brought the light of the gospel to the world. Following in their footsteps, we ask what God’s mission looks like today and how we can be a part of it.
Delivery
Combination of in-person and on-line.
Structure
Day 1 will set the scene by looking at mission through the lens of Scripture, and answering the big question, “What does Scripture tell us about God’s mission?”
On Day 2 we will look back at what was, examining the successes and failures of the past.
On Day 3 and Day 4 we will identify what mission is, as we recognise and asses the shift in mission paradigms and the impact at the global and local level.
Day 5 will find us looking at what mission could be in the near future, as we distinguish the global trends of our increasingly borderless reality and the gift of mutuality within the worldwide Body of Christ.
Includes
- Assessment presentations
- Cultural lunches

Testimonial
“This subject was life-changing! It gave me fresh insight and excitement about God’s hand at work in the past, present and future. I loved the creative opportunities we were given to engage with the material, especially the cultural lunches that not only filled our bellies but our souls! I’m inspired to not only be more missional in my daily living, but also partner with God to help others do the same.” – J.H.
