Rev Dr Theresa Lau

Theresa is the Dean of Faculty and Development in MST’s Chinese department. Theresa completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne’s Jewish Department, focusing on the provenance of the Gospel of Matthew, the book of Acts and the Didache. Theresa was born in Malaysia, and came to Australia as an overseas student, trained in psychology and Jewish Studies at the University of Melbourne, and theology at Sydney Missionary & Bible College. Theresa is also an ordained Anglican minister and has served as a pastor and lecturer in Sydney & Melbourne and has served as a missionary, Academic Dean and Associate Professor in Barcelona, Spain. Theresa is married to Timothy, with two children and a dog.
