Melbourne School of Theology offers a wide variety of units from which you may choose across all the theological disciplines for completing the Master of Theological Studies: Biblical Studies, Christian Theology, Christianity in History, Practical, Pastoral and Missional Theology. Our learned faculty will be there to assist you every step of the way.

The Master of Theological Studies requires the satisfactory completion of 16 units totalling 192 credit points. Full-time students normally take a study load of 3-4 units per semester, and part-time students 1-2 units per semester.
Biblical & Theological Foundation
Complete two units of Old Testament Introduction or New Testament Introduction:
Complete one Christian Thought unit, from Christianity in History (CH), Theology (TH), or Philosophy and Ethics (PE).
Electives
Complete the remainder of your course with electives of your choice, either nine or up to twelve further units (dependant on your project scope).
Research Project
Complete a research project within a field of your choice, at one of the following scopes:
