Unit Code: TH102-812
Pre or Co-requisites: Yes
In this unit, we explore God’s work of creation out of nothing, the administration of providence, the nature of theological humanity, the origin, nature and effects of sin, Christ’s human and divine natures, the Chalcedonian settlement regarding their relation, and what Christ accomplished for humanity in the atonement. Altogether these doctrines comprise the heart of the historic Christian faith, the substance of the gospel message. Through this unit, students will gain a greater appreciation for the glory and wonder of God’s gracious work in the person of Christ.
