This unit provides an introduction to the ministry and teaching of Jesus as described in the Gospels, with a special focus on Mark. At the end of this subject, you will have gained an understanding of the historical context of Jesus’ ministry and will be able to identify the distinctive features of each of the four Gospels.
You will be able to discuss the major themes of Jesus’ teaching and appreciate the significance of certain key events recorded in the Gospels. Through personal reflection, you will be able to use perspectives from this unit to further your own understanding of the Gospel and your application of it in your life and ministry.

Auditing offers an opportunity for those who wish to engage in quality Christian Studies without the pressure of formal assessment.
Participants can engage deeply with the Bible, take part in class discussions, and grow in their faith—all without the requirement to write essays or sit exams.
The one-time $150 administration fee has been permanently waived for auditing students.
The $350 audit fee structure does not apply to PC082 and PC083 (THRIVE units), which are subject to different pricing arrangements.
