This unit introduces students to various attitudes towards Muslims and approaches to working with Muslims used by Christians over the history of Christian-Muslim engagement. It will enhance the capacity of the students to engage as a Christian with the Muslim world.
Students who take this unit will understand the diverse nature of Islam, Christian attitudes towards Islam and Muhammad, and will be familiar with a variety of methods used by Christians in witnessing to Muslims.
