Level of award

If you feel called into ministry as a pastor, chaplain, cross-cultural missionary or local church leader, then the Bachelor of Ministry is a fantastic starting point. This Degree provides the theological framework and spiritual formation you will need in order to excel in your future service as a minister or Christian leader.

You will learn the foundations of the Bible and how to interpret the text accurately, discover the richness of Church history and how it still shapes our practice today, and gain an understanding of how to lead or operate a ministry.

The Bachelor of Ministry degree introduces students to the sources and content of the Christian story and message, and provides training which emphasizes application and practice of this story and message in the contemporary world. The course will concentrate on the disciplines by which knowledge of God is applied to guide Christian practice in the three fields of Ministry and Practice:  Evangelism and Missiology  Pastoral and Church Focused Ministry  Developmental Ministry A course in Ministry will integrate studies in the Bible and Christian tradition with practical experience through supervised practice based learning. This degree is designed to be appropriate preparation for a wide range of Christian ministries including those conducted by lay leaders as well as specialised professionals, and leadership ministries.
