Unit Code: PE007-712
Pre or Co-requistes: Yes
The aim of Christian apologetics is to represent the Christian faith intelligently to a sceptical world. It addresses objections to the Christian Faith and seeks to present Christianity as a coherent worldview with compelling explanatory power. In apologetics we show that faith is not blind and that Christians have a solid epistemic foundation for their convictions. Christian teaching and witness is most responsible and effective when it demonstrates an ability to answer it’s critics. In this unit students will cover a range of approaches to, and issues in apologetics, which will equip them to answer the inevitable objections to their faith.
