Unit Code: PC035-712
Pre or Co-requisites: No
In Christian organisations that flourish you will find strength in leadership. However, in Christian organisations failing to flourish you will find a failure of leadership. This unit attempts to introduce Christians to some of the more theoretically and empirically sound leadership literature and assist students to build theological foundations beneath effective leadership practices.
The unit will be structured around three main areas:
a) Principles of Christian Leadership.
b) Management of Christian institutions and organisations.
c) Applied ‘field ministry’ tasks, relating to very practical areas of leadership and management, and the development of a personal leadership plan.
Intensive: Semester 2, 2022
Lecturer: Tim Meyers
