MST would like to welcome our newest member of staff – Tom Prowse – who has replaced Iona Kroussoratsky as Enrolment Coordinator while she is on 12 months maternity leave.
Tom grew up on the Mornington Peninsula, attended Flinders Christian College from K-12, and then headed off to Monash University to complete a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Jazz Piano. After completing his degree, Tom worked as an on-campus missionary at the Monash Clayton campus with Power to Change (previously Campus Crusade for Christ), before starting a Master of Divinity at MST. During his MST degree, Tom took up an internship role at New Peninsula Baptist Church as a Youth & Worship Ministry Intern.
He has now almost completed his MDiv, and has recently started working part-time as the Worship Pastor at Mooroolbark Baptist while also taking on the role as the MST Enrolment Coordinator. Tom is passionate about many things, however, he is particularly passionate about encouraging, enabling and equipping people to use their creative gifts in thoughtful ways for God’s glory.
A fun fact about Tom: both Tom and his wife Hannah have ginger hair, and their two cats, Moses & Miriam, also have ginger hair! Tom and Hannah made a decision to only have ginger haired pets to ensure that each pet would always feel a part of the family.
